Master of Biology Biochemistry with honours (MBiol (Hons) Biochemistry).

Having a strong passion for both Science and Technology, Charlie is keen to help and support students develop their practical skills in a safe and enjoyable manner, whilst helping to support teachers deliver practical sessions.

Charlie graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2022 with a first class MBiol (Hons) Biochemistry. His studies had a large focus on neurotoxicology, culminating in a final year study investigating the effect of organophosphate compounds on histone acetylation in cultured neuronal cell lines.

In addition to his academic achievements. Charlie has held a variety of roles ranging from a line cook at a local Chinese restaurant to an account’s assistant for the Milton estate in Peterborough. These academic and professional experiences will allow Charlie to effectively operate in his role as Curriculum Support Technician here at Manor Drive Secondary Academy.
