Last term, during art lessons our Year 9 students have been exploring the vibrant and imaginative work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser while learning the traditional craft of batik. Using hot wax and dye, they created unique fabric designs inspired by Hundertwasser’s style and their own journeys to school.

Some students took their work even further by adding embroidered details, developing both their creativity and technical skills. The finished pieces are full of colour, personality, and imagination — we are incredibly proud of the effort and dedication shown by our Year 9 students this term!
