World Book Day Student Activities

This week at MDSA we have been celebrating World Book Day with a range of activities designed to inspire a love of reading and creativity.
One of the highlights took place on Tuesday 3rd March, when we welcomed local Peterborough poet Charley Genever to the school. She performed some of her modern and humorous poetry during assemblies, which received a fantastic response from students.
Charley also led engaging poetry workshops for students in Years 7–9, giving them the opportunity to explore creative writing and performance. The sessions were thoroughly enjoyed and students responded brilliantly.
This was just one of the events we have held this week to celebrate World Book Day. Stay tuned for more highlights from the day!
