SALARY: Grade 6 Point 7 Actual Salary: £17,333 + £2000 R&R

HOURS: Monday – Thursday 8.30am-3.45pm

                                                Friday – 8.30am – 2.15pm                    

                                                50 mins lunch unpaid

                                                Term time plus 5 days

The Manor Drive Secondary Academy is a brand new, over subscribed school in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We are seeking to appoint a Lead Science Technician to join our highly successful team where students are paramount.  The post includes organising and supervising other Science Technicians, co-ordinating and preparing resources for teachers within the Science department. The role is busy and varied.  The successful candidate will need to be an organised and self motivated individual who has pride in their work and enjoys providing an excellent service.  A good Science knowledge is essential.

Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good ICT skills.  Consistent and effect communication are required together with the ability to use your own initiative.
